Job Description
Position is responsible for researching, developing, and managing projects related to new project releases.
Job Responsibilities:
• Partners with a cross-functional team to develop and implement new mortgage products.
• Identifies and researches the tasks and activities needed to ensure a successful product release and tracks progress.
• Plans, evaluates, and executes product release projects according to predetermined objectives, scope, timelines, and requirements.
• Analyzes the benefits of new products and creates internal marketing.
• Ensures quality control, standardized deliverables, proper communication and delegation of tasks throughout the product development life cycle.
• Recognizes project hurdles / risks and escalates to stakeholders.
• Maintains continuous knowledge of agency and investor policies.
• Develops ways to continuously improve the speed and efficiency of the product release process
• Continuously evaluates the available menu of products and recommends additions or subtractions.
• Evaluates the incremental volume, revenue, and market share impact of new products.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
Preferred Qualifications
Skils & Abilities Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field of study
• Knowledge of mortgage products and investor requirements
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
• Self-disciplined, proactive and ability to work independently
• Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and mathematical skills, using sound judgment
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
• Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
