Position Overview
Reporting to the HR Direct Specialist Lead, the HR Business Analyst is responsible for providing technical systems support to the HR function, primarily within Workday, as well as managing individual and mass data changes in the HR systems as it relates to core HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide technical support aligned to core HR processes being supported by the HR Direct team
•Execute configuration setups and changes in the HR system (Workday) related to non-self-service transactions
•Support HR consultants by answering more complex queries related to HR systems specific to CoE and transition activities
•Manage mass data changes and systems activities related to employee entries and exits (e.g., mass systems onboarding after M&A activity)
•Provide guidance and best practices around HR systems usage and data management policies•Assist in the review, testing and implementation of the HRIS upgrades or new functionality
•Maintain awareness of current trends, applications and tools in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support and applying key technologies
•Serve as the HR data expert on projects focused on implementing new HR systems or enhancing existing systems
Skills and Competencies
•Strong analytics, business, and financial acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions, and offer recommendations
•Excellent working knowledge of data management best practices and standards
•Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical resources
•Passionate about team work and providing excellent customer service through efficient processes
•Understanding of core HR processes and HR management practices
•Results focused with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders
•Proactive in achieving results and seeking improvements
•Attention to detail and an ability to work towards tight deadlines
•Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially MS Excel and Access
Desired Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Information Technology preferred; and/or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
•3-5 years as a business or HRIS analyst role
•Working knowledge of HRIS systems including Workday (required) and PeopleSoft/ADP (preferred)
