Position Description Overview
The HR Workforce Analytics group is looking for technical, ambitious and innovative individual to join its team as a Summer Intern! With People being one of First Data’s most important assets, the team’s mission is centered on providing actionable insights to clients in order to make intelligent business decisions regarding its 23,000+ Global Workforce. The support this team provides is critical in decision-making and aids in the advancement of key Human Capital initiatives and the execution of company strategies.
Job Responsibilities
• As a member of the analytics team, this individual will have the following key responsibilities: •Provide support helping to query, audit and prepare data for reporting. More specifically he/she will aid in the creation and delivery of standard HR analytics packages, as well as completing ad-hoc requests and projects as needed for the clients. •Exposure to critical focus areas within Enterprise Reporting, creating a great foundation to learn and grow; developing a more specialized skill set over time. •Engage in cross-functional collaboration and work with other Analytics peers. •Team participation is an essential part of the role in completing requests and other project-based work in support of the WFP&A function. •Candidates will leverage various business information tools and must have ability to work in advanced reporting environments. Key responsibilities include: •Analysis and reporting of headcount activity on an ongoing bases - hiring/ attrition trends and headcount forecasting •Hiring and Recruiting metrics sourced from Talent Acquisition systems •Analysis of key HR initiatives including Diversity, Talent Management, Internal Mobility, Employee Relations and Compensation •Provide support to clients across various functions including Finance, Talent Acquisition, HR Generalists

Autonomy
Handles repetitive and routine tasks following detailed instructions, referring more complex issues to higher levels. Works under direct supervision.
Job Requirements
• o Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree and will graduate between December 2018 and June 2019.
◦ 3.5+ GPA preferred
◦ Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge and technical aptitude to learn new applications quickly
◦ Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
◦ Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills
◦ Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
