Purpose of Job
We are currently seeking talented Diversity & Inclusion Advisor Senior for our San Antonio, TX facility.
Responsible for the development, implementation, and on-going management of enterprise diversity and inclusion strategies, programs and solutions that align and support both operational and strategic priorities of the enterprise. Provides consultation and support on enterprise Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) initiatives, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action related matters, management practices, and regulations pertaining to the work environment. This role will have primary responsibility for developing and monitoring training programs, executing D&I surveys, maintaining our internal and external web presence and providing general support to our D&I compliance and reporting team as an alternate for regulatory and reporting needs. Partners with the team to monitor the D&I environment across the organization.
Job Requirements
• Develop and implement enterprise D&I education, training and communication programs and messaging.
• Collaborates with peer partners in design of course content for D&I presentations, training and learning modules.
• Work with Diversity Management team to identify areas for improvement associated corrective action or intervention strategies.
• Manage external D&I partnerships (government agencies and Diversity/AAP organizations) and vendors to include acting as a liaison for D&I branding and all other D&I communications.
• Provide enterprise consultation, training and guidance at all levels regarding diversity and inclusion, affirmative action and EEO and the impact to the business.
• Research and analyze D&I and Affirmative Action best practices including development of implementation strategies, business plans, or programs.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external diversity event and cultural observances.
• Provide consultation regarding employee selection practices and assessments to ensure validity and consistency.
• Acquires and applies expert knowledge of D&I; may prepare D&I reports including data analysis and identification of opportunities and solutions.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• 6 or more years of relevant work experience in Diversity and Inclusion or Affirmative Action/EEO programs; or progressive human resources experience or relevant business experience with related initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience developing or advising training programs.
• Demonstrated experience supporting large scale programs/projects.
• Experience in D&I related activities.

Preferred
• Demonstrated experience in program/project management in HR related activities
• Demonstrated experience with process documentation and/or standard operating procedure development
• Experience in large scale conference or event planning.
• Experience performing detailed research and making recommendations based on alignment to strategy, business needs, or gap analysis
• Demonstrated ability to assess, determine solutions, and develop process to resolve complex problems
• Master's degree or graduate education in related field of study
• PHR or SPHR and/or Diversity/AAP certification
