Payroll Administrator

Responsibilities
• Prepare, review and confirm time and commission entries, assuring accurate and timely compensation
• Researches and resolves questions from management and employees as they relate to processing payroll information, including PTO, banking, garnishments, workers compensation, retro pay, taxes, etcetera.
• Communicate with Human Resources to ensure integrity of payroll data, including new hires, terminations, transfers and rate changes, making necessary updates
• Support finance team in compiling reports
• Data entry and management, uploading paper invoices to electronic storage, maintaining payroll records and documentation
• Assist with payment to vendors
• Process employee expense reports and credit card reconciliation
• Process payments by managing spreadsheets and comparing them with receivables
• Help with past due collections as needed, calling and e-mailing customers
• Assist with the special handling of customer invoices bi-monthly
• Maintain office supply inventory
• Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ year payroll experience
• Ability to work both individually and as a team member across the organization
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
