Regional Sales Director to cover Dallas, Texas territory.
Responsible for prospecting, developing, maintaining and enhancing sales relationships with licensed financial advisors in the bank market, regional bank sales management and senior bank management. The focus of this position is the marketing, education, communication and distribution of GWF variable annuities. Additionally, this individual must manage relationships with their targeted audiences to keep them informed of product, market and service related updates.
Primary Responsibilities
• Conduct product and sales meetings though individual and group training sessions, seminars, workshops and branch meetings to deliver advisor and client solutions.
• Develop appropriate business plan to maximize territory sales and meet revenue objectives by identifying and developing top producing financial advisors.
• Develop sales ideas and marketing approaches that may be unique to each broker dealer and financial advisor.
• Partner with internal colleagues, including internal sales directors, to strategically align resources that deliver optimal territory sales results.
• Assist Great-West Financial management with ongoing evaluation of program effectiveness and required adjustments.
• Adhere to a high level of professionalism, including conducting a compliant practice – one that follows regulatory rules and company policies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent insurance/investment experience
• Strong ability to work independently and to communicate clearly and concisely
• Ability to create and deliver effective presentations to licensed bank employees
• Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practices
• Expected to maintain knowledge of existing products, new or enhanced products and new and existing marketing campaigns
• Proven ability in growing a territory as measured by sales and persistency of business
• Prior experience as a financial services wholesaler
• Ability to travel 85-90%
• Series 6 and 63 FINRA Licenses
• Required to obtain Life Insurance License for all states conducting business in
