We are looking for an individual that can help us position data within our organization to reach our objectives. To be successful in this role, you need to be passionate about data with the ability to consult with business partners to drive outcomes.
As a Sr. Data Analystwithin our Full-Service Accumulation Strategy team, you will provide insight and execute data strategies and systems for business unit products and services aligning with business unit strategic goals.
Additional responsibilities will include:
• Develop proactive data strategies and present recommendations to leadership and identified audiences regarding the market, competition, and our position in the market place.
• Complete accurate and timely metrics and reporting. Research, analyze, and validate the primary source(s) for definitive data and completeness to feed metrics associated with Retirement Investment Services.
• Effectively utilize complex computer programs to mine data sources providing relevant information in an easily consumable manner.
• Lead project team members to thoroughly develop and maintain processes or systems in accordance with scheduled target dates.
• Perform other job-related duties or special projects with a focus on data and analytics as required.
Qualifications:
Skills required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 8 years’ experience required
• 3+ years job related experience is required.
• Proven experience with Business Objects, SAS, SQL and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• Experience with data visualization and data integration tools is a plus.
Successful candidates will have the following:
• Knowledge of company of retirement products is preferred.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
• Computer skills and knowledge of/aptitude for business unit applications are required.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, math, and statistical skills and demonstrates the ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be accurate and pay strong attention to detail.
• Must be a self-starter!
