JOB DESCRIPTION
Creditex, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, presents a unique opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join a highly motivated and successful team to help revolutionize electronic trading in our New York base fixed income division. Teams are located globally (New York, London and Singapore), and are responsible for developing, promoting and delivering risk reduction and electronic solutions, predominantly in the Inter-Dealer space. Working closely with other sales and product development teams, team members strive to leverage business relationships, market knowledge and superior technology to provide progressive solutions to the ever-changing electronic trading markets.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and manage daily bond auctions, as well as other ad-hoc risk reduction products, incl. set-up, notifications and communication with dealers.
• Develop and maintain strong sell-side dealer relationships, including frequent interaction with traders, in order to drive usage and volume
• Liaise with client contacts (MO, IT, Business Managers) to resolve issues and improve efficiency
• Contribute to new product launches in the form of project managing task lists, developing processes and assisting with client communication and demos.
• Collaborate with global teams to design and deliver process improvements, new functionality and new products in order to achieve higher client satisfaction
• Perform UAT testing to resolve issues or assist clients with testing Important Personal Attributes
• Insight of market developments and competitor intelligence to uphold competitive advantage
• Understand prospects’ use cases and convert them to clients
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree: Business, Finance or Technology related discipline
• 2-8 years’ experience in front office trading or brokerage experience within Credit
• Series 7 and 63 required
• Expert understanding of electronic trading / session-based trading / e-commerce
• Solid Fixed Income Product knowledge, including trade flow
• Strong credit relationships, ideally with sell-side broker dealers
• Understands dealer trading strategy, requirements, behaviors
• Technologically savvy, paying attention to necessary details, a trouble-shooter
• Should have an intellectual curiosity of and proficiency with trading algorithms and technology
• Energetic, aggressive, and willing to reach out to existing and new potential clients
• Team player who is happy and ready to learn and pitch in where needed
• Goal-oriented, self-driven, willing to make decisions and get things done
• Professional, adoptable, demonstrating integrity and a positive attitude
• Quick to react to daily demands and challenges
