Job Description Summary
Aegon Global Technology (AGT) provides IT infrastructure and application support services to the Aegon businesses. AGT is responsible for the provisioning, support and ongoing maintenance of IT operating platforms, applications and services. Additional AGT responsibilities include providing IT infrastructure solutions that are in alignment with business objectives and the AGT technology strategy.
This position is part of the AGT Financial Services Team. The main responsibilities of this position are accounts payable, journal entries and internal billing.
Responsibilities
• Enters invoices into payment and online banking systems.
• Researches past due balances.
• Resolves billing issues with vendors.
• Monitors aging reports.
• Obtains invoice copies.
• Creates and uploads monthly journal entries to the general ledger system.
• Processes monthly AGT IT service billing spreadsheets for our domestic and international internal customers.
• Assists in or prepares worksheets and reports.
• Participates in projects with initial direction.
• Creates and documents procedures.
• Researches and gathers appropriate information for others or to recommend a solution to an issue.
• Reconcile multiple accounts from one or more accounting-based systems at appropriate timeframes (daily, monthly, and annually).
• Researches out of balance accounts.
• Exhibits a thorough knowledge of where to find information on system(s).
• Resolves questions and guides Accounting Specialist/Associates in their problem resolution.
• Looks for and understands what issues should be brought to the attention of a higher authority.
• Handles and resolves complex or unique questions, problems, or assignments, exercising independent judgment and initiative on occasion.
• May provide guidance to others within the same skill area.
Qualifications
• Associates’ degree.
• Minimum of 2 years’ accounting-related. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
• Accounting principles experience.
• Microsoft Excel experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Accounts payable experience.
• Easily move from one computer system to another.
• Exhibits a thorough knowledge of where to find information on system(s).

Salary Guidelines:
$30,000 - $39,500 - $49,500
Expected Starting Salary Range: $31,600 - $43,450
This position is also incentive bonus eligible
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
