This position reports to an Officer in the SARM Operations Team. You will manage a team of 9 FTE that work closely with internal and external customers and other departments researching alternative approaches to meet the client needs.
• Exhibit strong management and leadership skills.
• Manage the performance and production of a processing team.
• Provide operational guidance and direction for the team
• Understanding and working knowledge of all the policies and procedures of the department within a six month time span
• Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing and resolving inquiries via the phone or written correspondence
• Identify, research and resolve complex monetary or data discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner using error and control reports
• Monitors the daily productivity and quality numbers for the team to ensure department standards are adhered to
• Maintain process integrity within the team

• Write and administer Annual Performance Reviews
• Ensuring that Succession Planning is in place
• Build internal and external relationships to facilitate administration of service delivery.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
• Knowledge of the retirement savings industry
• Strong business acumen to support decision making and execution of winning strategies and tactics in a fast paced and dynamic service environment.
• Strong PC Skills
• The ability to adapt to change, drive for results and build relationships.
• Exceptional communication skills, flexibility, quickly adapt to change, foster teamwork and solve problems.
• Demonstrate and practice strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate effective organizational, time management and prioritization skills
• Demonstrate ability to consistently meet goals and deadlines, department standards for quality and productivity
• Display and utilize good judgment on a consistent basis
• Demonstrate strong analytical and research skills in formulating and implementing effective resolutions for issues in a timely fashion
• Demonstrate ability to consistently identify and escalate issues in a timely concise fashion
• Detail oriented and demonstrate on a consistent basis strong follow through skills
• Timely and accurate processing, reporting and communication
• Demonstrate ability to adapt to change to meet the needs of the clients and department
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3-5 years of Industry related experience
