Oversees our brand globally, leads communications with clients and other key stakeholders, and manages the development, production and distribution of all client content for marketing, sales, media and brand campaigns
Who are the main stakeholder groups?
The Production Manager will work closely with a broad range of internal subject-matter experts across Research, Product Management and Benchmarks, with marketing content, campaign and events teams, with Compliance and Legal and with external writing contractors.
Role Description
What will they be doing in this role?
The Production Manager will be responsible for the management of FTSE Russell/ISD marketing and content production process and oversight of all materials in this workflow, ensuring that our research content, product collateral, campaign content and topical marketing deliverables are consistent, timely, on-brand and legally compliant. Deliverables include research and insight papers, blogs, Q&As, advertising, product collateral, presentations, social media posts, digital/web assets, videos, infographics and more.
The Production Manager will oversee production and design resources globally; manage external production vendors; and work in close coordination with Marketing Content, Brand & Design and Digital Platforms
To whom will they report?
Head of Marketing Content, FTSE Russell (New York), with secondary report to the Brand & Design lead (Seattle).

Key Responsibilities
The Product Manager is a central coordination role, working with marketing and business owners, subject-matter-experts (SMEs), writers and our Compliance team to ensure that the content is delivered on time and to high standards and conforms to house style guidelines:
• Workflow:
◦ Managing FTSE Russell/ISD’s global marketing, research and product content/collateral production process and workflow -- from authoring, through production and review, to distribution/publication.
◦ Coordinating traffic of core materials including research, insights, blogs, product collateral, presentations, digital/web assets, videos and more. Ensuring been trafficked through the appropriate business and Compliance sign-off.
◦ Managing the flow of materials and collateral through our pipeline, working with campaign managers, events managers, digital teams and print vendors to execute the distribution/publication of content
◦ With Digital Platform lead, oversee content management workflow tools (Kapost).
• Planning: Planning and organising the global production schedule to deliver campaign and product marketing requirements within the required timeframes. Maintaining production pipeline status reports and compliance logs.
• Management & Assessment: Running core Working Group meetings with Segment and Product marketing teams to understand global campaign and product marketing needs and timeframes. Assessing project and resourcing requirements and managing our external and internal resources to deliver the campaign and product materials on time and within budget.
• Budgeting: Setting and controlling targets and budgets; owning the global production budget
• Vendor Management Oversee external global production partners
• Rebranding Projects: Supporting the rebranding production process for acquisitions.
Skills / Requirements
This role carries significant responsibility both for supporting the long-term growth of the FTSE Russell business through the delivery and execution of a best-in-class global production process. It is therefore expected that the jobholder will have:
• Experience in directing and implementing a global multi-channel production process at a multi-national organization
• Ability to drive change and process improvements
• Excellent planning and project management skills
• Facility with digital production systems and content management/distribution tools
• Excellent relationship management, presentation and communication skills
• Experience managing production resources, including oversight of external contractors and vendors
• First class communication skills
• Excellent eye for detail and proof reading experience
• Degree level education or equivalent
