Summary:
Integrated Services for the Americas plays an integral role in MUFG Americas’ success and is comprised of the technology, operations and process excellence, information security, and project management functions for MUFG Americas.
The AVP, Training & Development, ISA helps to ensure a trained workforce to support retention, advancement and high performance. Responsible for supporting the development and implementation of an ongoing training and development program that ensures learning maps to business strategy.
Major Responsibilities:
• Support ISA learning governance, Staff Awareness and Training process, and ongoing training program
• Enhance training opportunities for ISA employees and assist with the development of learning solutions to meet desired outcomes
• Assist with the development and management of the ISA onboarding program; ensure consistency across all groups and alignment with enterprise efforts
• Manage ISA’s summer intern program and support the development of the new analyst program to create a pipeline for talent; partner with University Relations and stakeholders throughout the organization
• Manage monthly Info Share sessions to ensure employees are informed about key initiatives and programs happening within ISA and the bank
• Manage the monthly Learning Link newsletter, which highlights available learning and development opportunities for employees
• Maintain and improve the ISA Training & Development intranet site
• Leverage existing enterprise and Talent Development resources (i.e. LEAP courses, Workday tools) and promote usage
• Encourage use of individual development plans to drive professional development strategy
• Ensure all learning activity is measured, tracked and reported via MUFG’s learning management system LEAP
Qualifications
• Requires 3-5 plus years of experience in learning, training and development
• Some Communications industry experience is helpful
• Requires strong presentation skills, oral and written communication skills and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively interact with peers and all levels of staff and management
• Excellent organization, problem solving, and prioritization skills. Ability to influence and motivate individuals and teams
