Position Description
SEI (NASDAQ:SEIC) is a leading global provider of investment processing, investment management, and investment operations solutions that help corporations, financial institutions, financial advisors, and ultra-high-net-worth families create and manage wealth.
The Hedge Fund Investor Servicing/Transfer Agency Operations Analyst will be responsible for assisting the staff with the daily, monthly, and other periodic functions within the Hedge Fund Transfer Agency and Investor Servicing department. This individual will assist in investor reporting and follow standards and procedures.
The responsibilities for this position may include some or all of the following:
Interact with internal and external clients, as well as teammates, on the telephone and in person in a professional and accurate manner.
Prepare and process all trades received by telephone or transmission by established cut-off times with 100% accuracy and quality.
Maintain and update shareholder accounts.
Ability to navigate efficiently throughout the Transfer Agent system.
Ensure that client and investor deliverable requirements are met on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Perform Daily Cash Reconciliation.
Produce client reports.
Process shareholder wire reports and custody money movements.
Assist in the resolution of programming and systems issues and requirements with internal and external support groups
Elevate and assist with problem and error resolution on a timely basis (with documentation).
Follow strict departmental procedures and controls and maintain zero tolerance for error.
Assist with communication within the department, as well as with the investor, client, financial reporting and internal/external audit.
Support various trading products.
Position Requirements
B.S. /B.A. in Business or related field, preferred.
Minimum of one year related work experience preferred.
Willingness to learn new systems, concepts and broaden knowledge in the industry.
Excellent communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
Must be a team player.
Detailed Oriented.
Flexible with work hours.
Strong aptitude for numbers.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of Excel for Windows.
Knowledge and expertise of investor servicing a plus.
Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of NSCC processing is a plus.
Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with position, business and/or client needs
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
