Description
The Revenue Optimization Specialist is responsible for assisting the development and growing the business within select MoneyGram domestic agent sales channels. Specifically, this role has a primary focus on maximizing Key Partnership and Platinum Retail agent partner performance, including identifying challenged locations and returning them to productivity. The role will develop a robust reporting model to monitor agent performance trending, including identifying zero and low/declining volume locations – and define and manage a contact strategy in response, based on the severity and duration of the decline. In collaboration with leadership, the position will define key performance metrics, including transactability, uptime, volume, and revenue contributions, and be responsible for hitting corresponding growth targets. The role will work with the assigned account management team and directly with the agent partner to understand roadblocks to performance, and suggest and implement initiatives to resolve them. This will include serving as a Project Manager to lead key productivity enhancement efforts and partnering with cross-functional departments to ensure necessary servicing, training, technical support, and other aspects as needed are implemented, to ensure agents are productive and maximizing volume to meet projected forecasts. The position will track efforts, including initiatives, outcomes, and subsequent location growth and present results to leadership.
Primary Responsibilites
• Develops and maintains robust reporting for Key Partnerships and Platinum Retail agent partners, including identifying performance challenged locations with zero or low/declining volume.
• Partners with the assigned account owner and directly with the agent to research and identify roadblocks to performance.
• Serves as Project Manager for enhanced productivity initiatives, including identifying and implementing tactics to address performance challenges, working across the organization with the necessary departments as needed to resolve.
• Tracks efforts, including initiatives, status, outcomes, and performance improvements, and presents results to leadership.
• Participates with internal training programs & meetings on new processes as they impact our business and agents. This includes ongoing individual training to enhance personal skills and career development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
Minimum Required:
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
Skills
• Proven leadership and project management skills, ability to lead cross organizational teams and to delegate responsibilities
• Solutions-oriented when dealing with clients, team members and internal departments
• Ability to negotiate, influence and partner with internal and external customers
• Extensive knowledge of account management and customer service strategies
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Must be highly responsive in meeting agent’s need’s and timelines
• Strong relationship management skills with both internal and external customers
• Display professional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in MS Office Applications, Salesforce, and Cognos, preferred
• Background in financial services, preferred
