Summary
The Digital Marketing Analyst's role is to drive actionable insights that enable informed decision making and prioritization of strategies and tactics to support Thrivent Financial’s Holdings’ marketing goals. This position gathers and analyzes marketing data to inform, shape, and support marketing, product, and sales activities. The position provides business intelligence, predictive models, market insight, and consultation to internal stakeholders within Thrivent’s Financial’s Holdings’ marketing teams. This position is also responsible for activities that ensure data integrity, timely delivery of results, marketing metrics, and ROI analysis.
• Consult with marketing leaders to select, define, analyze, and communicate key marketing metrics to inform marketing strategy, spend, and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and design presentations for business leadership in order to review analyses findings and discuss recommendations for next steps on marketing strategy and optimization opportunities.
• Develop requirements to enhance and expand marketing analytic capabilities.
• Partner with IT resources to implement and QA new analytics tags on digital properties.
• Assess impact of online and offline marketing efforts in support of Thrivent’s business units’ goals.
• Coach and consult with individuals within marketing and content teams to use data to inform marketing and content strategy as well as future execution of go-to-market campaigns.
• Create and support on-going or ad-hoc reporting needs for business partners associated with Thrivent Holdings' digital properties or marketing activities.
Required Job Qualifications:
• 3 to 5 years of industry/sector experience
• Bachelors or advanced degree in business, marketing, or the sciences
• Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
• Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and digital analytic platforms (e.g. Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)
• Understanding of experimental design principles, test vs. control requirements and analysis
• Ability to interact successfully with all levels of management and staff
Other Critical Factors
• Competency working with data from native marketing platforms (e.g. Facebook or Adwords) and Salesforce preferred
• Heavy dependency on: Marketing; Enterprise Business Solutions, IT , External Data Vendors
• Strong background in Adobe Analytics and digital property analyses preferred
