JOB DESCRIPTION
The Documentation Specialist’ primary role will be to act as the main point of contact for documentation requests received from ICE Data Service’ clients or prospects. These requests include, but are not limited to, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence questionnaires, SIG questionnaires and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Surveys. The role will be responsible for coordinating the development, approval, delivery, and archiving of response.
The role will also support the maintenance of materials including, but not limited to documentation (e.g., user manuals/reference guides, methodologies, quick reference cards), marketing materials (e.g., brochures, collaterals, sales sheets/cards), and other support materials as needed. Research and learn products/services, develop an understanding of intended audience, and marketplace. Work independently and in consultation with the global Evaluation Teams, Marketing team, Business Lines, and Sales on the plan, design, and content of materials. Ensure that materials are technically accurate, well-organized, meet user needs, and conform to department and corporate standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Research products and services for new and/or updated technical and marketing materials
• Working with internal subject matter experts, develop appropriate materials and submit for user, legal, technical and Marketing reviews
• Edit content for clarity and conformance with style guidelines
• Coordinate review/approval of all materials by Legal per Marketing Review policy
• Supervise publication of materials: printing, distribution/inventory control, deployment to internet/intranet
• Coordinate response to client requests (EVS related RFPs, RFIs, due diligence questionnaires)
• Ensures projects meet established plans, schedules, and standards
Requirements
• B.A. or B.S. in English, Journalism, or related discipline is required
• Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of same or similar experience
• Strong MS Office skills
• Ability at managing multiple deadline projects along parallel tracks
• Experience shepherding documents through for internal reviews
• Team player able to interact with, and maintain good working relationships with, all levels of personnel in all functional areas of the company
• Superior communications (oral and verbal), organizational, and interpersonal skills. Multi-task oriented with desire to work in fast-paced environment
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Bonus Skills (optional)
• Understanding of fixed-income securities, markets, concepts and terminology
• Basic knowledge of securities pricing and valuation methods
• Experience supporting securities trading or asset management operations
