Description
The Deposit Operations Senior Specialist on the Cash Items team is asked to meet and exceed department service and quality standards, while maintaining consistent levels of communication with customers and colleagues regarding account information in a fast paced environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Collection on various items (i.e. returned cashed checks, overdrawn savings accounts, reclamations, un-posted savings withdrawals and un-posted ATM’s
• Supporting the official check escheatment process
• Providing provisional credits, creating official checks, processing restitution checks
• Assisting with the Fraud Closing process
• Adhering to policy and compliance guidelines regarding security of customer information. Includes Citizens, local, state and federal laws
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
• Minimum of 1-2 years teller experience
• Strong ability to communicate effectively verbally and written with customers and all levels of colleagues
• Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Strong computer and MS Office skills
• Strong research and problem solving skills
• Capacity to work independently
• Ability to prioritize and manage daily workload
• Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and requirements with a consistent, positive attitude
• Knowledge of Bank computer applications and systems preferred
Education:
• High school graduate required, Associate's Degree preferred
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
