Successful candidates will have a proven record of complex client management, strategic opportunity creation and capture, and government sales expertise.
The successful Account Consultant candidate will increase run-rate usage through direct contact with major customers and by identifying new and additional contacts and users within the customer base. A minimum of 50% face time with customers is required.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting multiple Relationship Managers who are responsible for greater than $10 million in revenue. Uncover opportunities for value-added products and services and high-end solutions. Probe at all levels of a customer’s organization to gain a full understanding of customer needs and applications.
The Account Consultant will serve as the Customer Education specialist and provide customized training for our major customers on the proper utilization of D&B products, services, Access Systems and specialized applications. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Provide account management of Tier II accounts as required and directed by management, which would include involvement in the renewal cycle and support in building an opportunity funnel to support ongoing revenue growth.
• Provide project management support by working with Relationship Managers to develop and manage project plans and resources to ensure accurate and on-time fulfillment of custom deliverables for major customers.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred
• 3 years of experience working with enterprise level or federal agency customers in sales/sales support role
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and superior presentation skills required.
• Must be able to commute to multiple local clients on a daily basis
• Must be willing to travel nationally as needed
• 2 years’ experience with D&B preferred
• PC proficiency required, with ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Extensive knowledge of D&B services and product offerings preferred.

• Experienced in the extraction, transformation and loading of data for database creation and management; using appropriate software tools
• Ability to manage sales/customer’s relationships and expectations relating to each project and resolve anypost productionissues.
• Ability to lead and deliver projects of low, medium, and high complexity.
