Students have an exciting opportunity to gain exposure in multiple disciplines within HR as part of the Patelco Credit Union HR internship. The HR Intern will have an opportunity to rotate through several departments within our HR Division (rotational areas may include Talent Acquisition, Development, Talent Management & Employee Relations).
The Human Resources intern will be responsible for assisting on a number of initiatives to improve processes and implement efficiencies within the Human Resources Department. This opportunity is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills she or he may have acquired in school and apply them in a professional setting. There will also be opportunities within the bank to network with other departments.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Project support of various HR initiatives: Engagement, Performance Management, Systems Integration
• Support of the recruiting and onboarding function, including potential campus recruiting initiatives
• Support of other HR Functions as assigned

• Demonstrated track record of initiative and leadership.
• Basic knowledge of the Human Resources function
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong research and problem solving skills
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Intermediate MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
Education:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or other HR related major
• Expected graduation date of May 2019 preferred
• Minimum GPA 3.0
