Position Description
As the Aftermarket & Forms Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team assigned to ensure Ally is competitive and compliant with the forms and aftermarket products we accept in our contract packages. This team supports production operations and there are plenty of business challenges to solve and processes to improve.
You and your team will be in charge of reviewing and approving new aftermarket products, approving aftermarket forms, monitoring the health of aftermarket providers, periodically reviewing aftermarket policy and parameters, ensuring our approved forms list is kept up to date and managing key suppliers. This team plays a critical role in protecting Ally at the same time they support our sales team and our dealers. Job Responsibilities
• Manage retail, lease and ancillary forms
• Manage aftermarket forms, providers and products, including new product approval
• Ensure adherence with established governance routines
• Complete identified process improvements
• Supervise the work of Product Analysts
• Lead projects
• Manage supplier relationships
• Special projects for Product Management team, as needed
• Provide operational and other support to matrix partners and other Ally teams
• Identify opportunities for improvement in all areas of the Product Team
• Continuously search for ways to improve processes, products and efficiencies
Qualifications
• BS and 4 + years or equivalent experience in financial services or related industry
• Project Management/Business Analyst Certification (or equivalent work experience) highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced in managing teams and projects
• Experienced in automotive underwriting and contract processing business processes
• Knowledge of automotive aftermarket product industry
• Proven ability to deliver results in a highly complex matrix environment, including external vendors
• Knowledge of SAS and EDAP a plus
• Skilled with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated experience & working knowledge of web-based applications desired but not required
• Able to travel overnight (infrequent)
