Description
The Benefits Partner IV has the opportunity to contribute to the organization by championing and managing MoneyGram’s Total Reward Benefits finance processes. Responsibilities include managing the department annual budget, develop an invoicing process for capturing all benefit vendors worldwide, managing the department audits, contract review and execution, vendor management and other duties as assigned. Consults with the business and have true ownership and thought-leadership in the benefits space.
Primary Responsibilities
• Partners with Finance team to develop annual department budget.
• Manages annual plan audits (internal and external) and plan testing to ensure that all filing requirements are met.
• Develops and implements invoicing processes for all benefit vendors – U.S. and International.
• Partners with benefit vendors, HRIS and Payroll departments to develop benefits reporting package.
• Manages risk assessment process and partner with Procurement department to ensure that all benefit vendor contracts are executed or renewed when appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Any combination of relevant education and experience and/or related professional designations/certifications in this field is highly desirable.
Education
• Minimum Required: BA/BS degree or a combination of relevant experience and education
Experience
• 8+ years’ experience in benefits finance
• Experience with defined benefit and defined contribution plan administration and compliance, preferred

• Experience researching and analyzing information from a variety of sources.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Robust accuracy and attention to detail applied in work.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and/or sensitive business information.
• Proficiency in identifying in efficiencies and driving process improvements to streamline and simplify processes.
• Intermediate level proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and process management skills.
