Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct research in support of the identification and assessment of emerging market place trends.
• Maintain resources that allow enterprise partners to access and leverage trend-related research and insights.
• Engage with internal business partners to help them understand the impact of emerging trends and shape their response strategies.
• Works on major secondary research projects across a variety of businesses.
• Uses secondary research to support Business Unit and enterprise-wide decision making.
• Is versed in the execution of secondary research projects, from project scoping to project management and analysis.
• Leverages colleagues, outside experts, and vendors to generate business relevant insights.
• Works on major projects; uncovers hard to find sources and verifies validity of other sources; performs market, industry, financial and economic analysis; formulates comprehensive answer for the client's business question.
• May serve as engagement lead for one or more businesses or corporate functions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
Under general supervision, conducts multiple secondary research projects; summarizes and synthesizes often conflicting datasets into actionable insights, and manages projects end-to-end. Position does not manage others.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, mathematics, marketing, or comparable analytical degree preferred. 5+ years of related work experience preferred.
Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies
Data Analysis & Synthesis: Intermediate ability to analyze data and summarize information from multiple sources, including large and complex data sets and performing market, industry, financial, and economic analysis. Insight Development: Intermediate ability to turn observations derived from data and analysis into actionable insights. Project Management: Intermediate ability to manage research projects from the scoping phase through client delivery. Research Expertise: Provide intermediate subject matter expertise in one or more research tools, sources or methodologies. Business Software Skills: Intermediate PowerPoint and Excel skills
