Description
We are looking for a dynamic professional whose primary focus will be coordination and executing the Consumer Bank Development Program (CBDP). The CBDP is a year-long rotational program designed for recent college graduates; each class has 4-6 participants. The objective of the program is to invest in the future of Citizens Bank by ensuring that we develop the next generation of colleagues who will make significant contributions to our clients, colleagues, communities and shareholders. the coordinator will report to the head of Brand, Advertising and Marketing Strategy who is also the Executive Sponsor of the CBDP.
This position is responsible for running and optimizing the day-to-day management of the CBDP. In this role you will be asked to:
• Partner with the recruiting team to optimize the recruiting process and attract successful program candidates.
• Coordinate the on-boarding process for new participants (from program acceptance through the first two months in the program).
• Identify and organize the rotations throughout the Consumer Bank.
• Conduct regular check-ins with program participants and executive sponsors.
• Coordinate and organize evaluations after each rotation and the completion of the full program.
• Identify full-time placement opportunities and coordinate/communicate the placement process.
• Develop and execute new internship program for high potential candidates who are still in college.
• Partner with other development programs across Citizens Financial Services to leverage best practices and create more consistency.
• Identify and implement enhancements to the program
Qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years experience, with increasing levels of responsibility, in the financial services industry [or human resources function].
• Self-starter who is highly organized, has a strong attention to detail, and has the ability to work on multiple work streams.
• Ability to build relationships quickly with a variety of colleagues, from senior level executives to new hires (recent college graduates).
• Strong project management skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of and devotion to coaching/mentoring junior colleagues.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement mentality [not sure of the right wording here; essentially looking for someone who will constantly be trying to enhance and improve the program].
Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
Bachelor degree required
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00
