This role will work across all tactics and channels to optimize marketing campaigns to gain spend efficiency and optimize project scale and accountability. This will include planning, forecasting, and budget management.
Specific Duties:
• Works with key business owners to confirm the scope, approach, audience, timing and deliverables. Obtains buy-in and approvals.
• Ensure marketing campaign requirements are fully documented and all outreach channels are maximized (including but not limited to mail, phone, email, SMS, search, display, social media, broadcast media, and outbound sales).
• Works with Marketing Analytics function to drive optimization of financial performance through on-going program analysis and continuous process improvement.
• Develops multi-channel strategy and performance/profitability forecasts to establish optimization approach for each campaign and work with tactic owners to implement.
• Maintain ownership of multi-channel special programs including planning, implementation, results analysis, and strategy refinements.
• Identify all tasks and decisions required to implement the strategic vision for a campaign, and manage the project against that plan.
• Coordinates and communicates scope and schedule changes that affect the program.
• Works with the creative agency to identify and develop strategies to achieve requirements.
• Understands current business processes and systems, and how they relate to andaffect Marketing campaign activities. Has a clear understanding of each of the stakeholder's areas of responsibility, interdependencies, and the impact a project can have on each of the areas.
• Works across teams and departments to ensure achievement of marketing campaign objectives.
• Identifies and implements new and ad hoc processes and approaches required for specific campaigns.
• Develops and maintains trusting, respectful and professional relationships with internal marketing clients and stakeholders.
• Manages vendor budgets and invoices for assigned programs.
• In coordination with marketing subject matter experts, works with internal legal and compliance teams to gain approval of campaign messaging.
• Any other job responsibilities requested by management.
• Job Requirements:
Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
Experience:
5 – 8 years Marketing Experience.
Skills:
• Detail Oriented
• Must have broad experience of implementing and optimizing direct response marketing across digital and traditional media including direct mail, email, telemarketing, search, display, social media, broadcast media
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills
• Superior organizational, prioritization, and project management skills
• Must be comfortable juggling multiple projects
• Experience managing projects to completion and to tight and changing deadlines
• Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to effectively coordinate teams of subject matter experts/stakeholders. Willingness to proactively intervene, as needed, to ensure program deliverables are completed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build trust, confidence and respect of clients and stakeholders, while working in a professional environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of optimization approach within and across all channels.
