The successful candidate provides extensive assistance to outside sales staff, assigned clients and prospects. They will be instrumental in providing excellent customer/client service when selling new lines, explaining coverage, and assisting the customer with other insurance needs by phone.
What You'll Do
As a Regional Account Support Representative, you will be responsible for the following:
◦ The coordination of sales support activities including, but not limited to the following:
• Issuing policy change requests for coverage changes as needed.
• Providing written and verbal quotes to client and agent.
• Issuing certificates of insurance or endorsements when needed.
• Completing applications for Florists’ Mutual or Brokerage line of coverage.
• Ability to work as a team player when dealing with various departments.
◦ Serving as primary office point of contact for clients and prospects. Assist with the gathering information needed to quote new and additional lines of coverage. Explaining and reviewing coverage(s). Acting on the agents behalf when agent is not available. Contacting clients concerning various topics as needed.
◦ Updating files with information about clients and prospects. Follows the Service Grid Activity guidelines in entering information in systems software.
What it Takes
0-2 years of related work experience.
Valid property and casualty producer’s license. Must also show proper documentation of continuing education as required by the insurance industry.
Intermediate knowledge of insurance coverages and policies.
Sales ability.
Ability to serve as primary point of contact with clients/prospects
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computer and calculator skills, including Microsoft Office products.
Effective time management and organizational skills
