ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Successful on time, on schedule delivery of the program, with the desired portfolio impact.
• Strong integration of the BAC / JLL team with the Landlord and/or Developer resulting in minimal additional costs to BAC during base build construction and favorable work letter conditions in the lease.
• Strong integration with BAC third party providers resulting in fully coordinated designs and construction to meet current and future needs for all projects.
• Strong relationships with all parties, to facilitate early identification of changes and their impacts to the overall program, with the corresponding development of mitigation plans.
• Clear understanding of escalation protocol.
• Clear and timely communication to key stakeholders and to the broader audience to successfully manage expectations, especially as the program requirements change.
• Developing and managing the optimum business outcome for BAC as their business needs change, to balance Capital Cost, Lease costs / flexibility, portfolio flexibility and business needs.
• Resource management including matrix management with existing BAC account team.
• Alignment of deliverables & governance requirements.
• Working knowledge of BAC business units and ability to partner with executive leadership
ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS
Strategic Planning:
• Ability to develop and articulate a strategic plan which is updated regularly and supported by the key stakeholders.
Communication:
• Ability to communicate with Executive leadership and project team members. Concise, clear messaging that identifies the key messages, and drives decisions and commitment.
Integration:
• Bringing together teams from different companies, with different objectives and perspectives to work together and achieve one key goal.
Change Leader:
• Adjusting the program in a proactive manner to reflect the new requirements, and getting all team members to support the change
People Leadership:
• Create a single vision for the program, and provide the team with the appropriate mix of empowerment and direction to effect a culture of trust, excellence and teamwork.
• Development of a Change Management program for communication to large audience of associates affected by program implementation
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
• Master’s Degree is beneficial for this role
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in managing design and construction of multiple projects
• Experience managing teams responsible for delivery of complex projects
• Demonstrated Leadership and proven experience in staff development and team building
• Executive communication and presentation skills
• Ability to effectively identify and mitigate project risks before they impact service delivery to the client
• Strong ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive solution for our clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Project software
