Responsibilities
• Assist with the valuations of ownership interests in private and public companies, intangible assets, financial instruments, loan and debt obligations, financial derivatives for purposes of gift and estate taxes, buy-sell agreements, ESOPs, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, litigation and domestic matters.
• Assist with the business, accounting, financial, and damage calculation aspects of complex commercial litigation matters, such as breach of contract, negligence, fraud, and bankruptcy.
• Assist in a wide variety of forensic matters involving corporate investigations, complex commercial litigation, financial damages calculations, and domestic litigation in both Federal and state venues for commercial and criminal matters.
• Organize, evaluate and prepare summaries and detailed analysis of large volumes of financial and non-financial data.
• Develop business, industry, and economic analysis.
• Develop financial models, including projections, derivative pricing, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and analysis of guideline companies and transactions.
• Prepare valuation reports and presentations.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics required; advanced/post-graduate degree preferred.
• Accounting, valuation and/or litigation support credentials, or pursuit of such credentials strongly preferred (CPA, ASA/AM, ABV, CVA, CFA, MAFF).
• 0-3 years of work experience in a financial/investment/accounting environment required.
• Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously required.
• Strong skills in research, writing, presentation, negotiation and general accounting and finance required.
• Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required.
• Strong proficiency with on-line databases and internet research of companies, industries, and economic conditions required.
• Basic understanding of the legal field and litigation procedures as well as valuation theory and application preferred.
• Occasional travel will be required for this role.
