Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to hire an Intermediate level Interior Design Professional with minimum of 5-7 years experience working in a corporate/commercial environment.
This position is responsible for the execution, delivery and maintenance of all portfolio drawings within the CAFM system (TRIRIGA).
This position supports the West Region OP Manager with occupancy strategies and work environment solutions.
A full understanding of space planning and space management are imperative in the development of strategic planning within the corporate environment.
Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design required.
Previous experience in space/occupancy planning at a strategic level, plus experience with interior office renovations is preferred.
Primary Role/Responsibilities:
Western Region Capital Project Activity Support
• Supports West Region manager through duration of project including programming, schematic design, design development and move migration planning (combined USF 910K)
◦ Creates presentations and supporting documentation to assist with space analysis and validation
◦ Demand Forecasting
# Review/coordination of demand (business unit) growth and program forecast as it relates to capital project and/or Phoenix Market
# Analyses current/proposed floor plans as they compare to forecast with programming documentation
◦ Creates Change Management supporting plan/documentation
◦ Preparation/Coordination of Move Migration Drawings (existing and new construction)
◦ Western/LAC Regions BAU Activity Support
• Ongoing support for BAU activity for multiple locations; primary focus shall be Phoenix and Salt Lake City campuses (combined USF 1.12M)
◦ Drafts initial layout and space planning documents for interior environments of specified departments/business units
◦ Conducts and maintains current and projected space inventory reports as assigned by manager for business units within Phoenix/Salt Lake City
◦ Performs administrative and managerial support tasks such as attending meetings and reporting activities
◦ Preparation/Coordination of Move Migration Drawings (existing and new construction) for company Locations
◦ TRIRIGA/CAD Maintenance
# Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and information resource for facility CAD applications across regions
# Manages accurate data and information on database by consistently reviewing integrity of info and alignment with system
# Updates, manages and transmits computer files to varying internal and external consultant stakeholder as required
# Ensure boundaries of various Business Units are updated per quarter; align all programming/site survey services to local, state and national codes and regulations. Conform to IFMA and BOMA Standards
# Maintain a current set of drawings for all managed sites to allow accurate interface between MAC churn database and drawing file in TRIRIGA
◦ FM MAC Coordination
# Develop drawings/backgrounds in support of “Business as Usual” activity managed by the FM MAC team
# Generate conceptual solutions that respond to client’s spatial requirements, physical planning constraints and corresponding compliance requirements
◦ Demand Forecasting
# Prepares as-built drawings, test fits, migration plans, and strategic planning plans
# Review/coordination of demand (business unit) growth and program forecast for Western Region properties
# Develops Change Management supporting plans/documentation
# Research and report on vacancy variances and interior space usage discrepancies for use in developing future planning strategies
