Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum Experience: 5 years of Consumer, Business Banking and/or Credit Card experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Knowledge of retail banking consumer lending (Credit Card preferred) including marketing, origination, products, current industry trends and credit risk
• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into tactics
• Highly developed research and analytical skills
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines in fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to work in an evolving environment, where change is the norm
• Ability to work in a matrix environment, requiring input from different departments, lines of business, and external service providers
• Ability to prioritize effectively and identify activities most important in driving business results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of business products
Job Description
Job Summary:
Assists in the development and execution of business, marketing, and sales support plans to drive profitability in our consumer and small business credit card products. Identifies and supports the launch of new products, features and solutions that increase credit card usage and customer loyalty.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs research and analysis related to market trends, profitability, pricing, product positioning, and sales strategy. Provides recommendations that are in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Maintains and uses knowledge of the competitive environment, i.e. assesses competitive landscape, leading industry trends and market demands to improve credit card acquisition tactics and services.
• Supports the assessment and helps track performance of key business credit card portfolio metrics in order to ensure success/profitable growth.
• Supports all phases of product development including research and planning, implementation, testing, execution, reporting, and monitoring. Identifies legal, technical, operational, marketing, compliance, or other related requirements. Ensures channel readiness for campaigns, product changes, product launches, changes in policies and procedures and process improvements.
• Partners closely with marketing to strengthen credit card marketing plans, analyze results and identify opportunity for improvements. Maintains a strong ongoing relationship and dialogue with implementation and client-facing teams to ensure that the product is delivered to meet member expectations and that the product roadmap and product capabilities are clearly communicated. Fully leverages third party strategic partners and their available resources to optimize product line results.
• Builds and strengthens relationships with internal and external partners; ensures key stakeholders are aligned with the proposed vision.
• Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
• Performs other related duties as required.
