Responsibilities
• Provide end user support for business systems, resolving inquiries and issues. Escalating issues to senior support as necessary.
• Assist in training and updating job aids. Communicating updates, systems and business changes to stakeholders as needed.
• Interact with vendors and contractors assisting to resolve any issues.
• Test releases, new builds and enhancements to business systems which may include assisting in coordination of user sign off and installation.
• Work with business analyst to evaluate user requirements for changes or enhancements to existing business systems and provide specifications where needed.
• Recommend improvements to business systems.
• Document and review new request and/or system enhancements.
• Communicate effectively with executives, vendors, and members of organization on a daily basis.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience in business solutions or operations analysis preferred
• Insurance industry or related business experience a plus
• Great customer service skills.
• Must be a team player but also able to work independently.
• The ability to research / analyze a problem autonomously before seeking advice or assistance.
• Desire to learn, improve performance, and ask questions.
• Ability to work in a pressure paced environment
• An effective communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skill
