Position Description
Support direct operational oversight, process innovation and strategic direction across a broad scope including: reporting, business insights, capacity planning, data governance, employee goals and performance, compliance, regulatory, and legal. Provide appropriate analyses and insights using complex statistical methods to ensure Consumer Operations teams maximize revenue opportunities, productivity and efficiencies while minimizing losses and operating costs. Position will assist in preparing enterprise-wide dashboards and analyses. Acts as an analytical and procedural expert for Consumer Operations processes and project deliverables.
Job Responsibilities
• Ongoing partnership with Consumer Acquisitions Managers and Contract Processing Center Site Leaders to drive desired performance. Assists the teams to maintain accountability for results, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Assist in maintenance and support of comprehensive suite of employee performance tools including business plan targets, employee performance metrics and scorecards.
• Provide business insights across Consumer Operations for target-setting, strategy and implementation of activities designed to increase profit and workforce engagement.
• Analyze market data and current business trends to identify revenue opportunities, process improvements, staffing efficiencies and cost reduction.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the CCO ribbon and comprehensive suite of reports to ensure management and the matrix partners have the appropriate tools to efficiently and effectively manage their operations.
• Assist in capacity planning function to ensure Underwriting and CPC are staffed appropriately to meet the needs of the business.
• Participate in cross departmental initiatives and partner with IT and Data Governance teams to ensure data being sourced is complete, accurate and documented appropriately and provide recommendations.
• Innovate, develop and implement complex technical solutions to support ongoing business initiatives and mitigate corporate process and technical gaps.
• Provide detailed analysis of retail funding and underwriting practices to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment to corporate strategic direction.
• Continually identify and implement best practices and drive efficiencies develop employees
Education, Certifications & Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred, 2+ years in customer service or financial services industry is required. 2+ years experience in reading &/or querying SQL, Oracle, SMSS, etc.. . 2+ years experience SAS
Qualifications
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Cognos; Auto Finance industry, consumer credit, trend analysis/analytics experience;
• High level of written and oral communication skills;
• Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills; Strong analytical skills;
• Negotiation/conflict resolution skills;
• Project management skills;
• Must be an independent worker with strong time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in fast paced environment; Must be familiar with extracting, analyzing, and reporting on data from the Ally IW (internal candidates only)
• Able to travel overnight (25% +/-)
