Introduction to Digital Marketing
The Digital Marketing team is a rapidly growing group of talented individuals who are creating a leading digital marketing practice for the Wealth Management business with a focus on improving business outcomes through data driven digital experiences. This new team delivers modern digital solutions that create scale and capacity for Financial Advisors (FAs) to engage with existing clients and new opportunities to attract new customer segments to the Firm. This team is building an enterprise-wide, integrated marketing platform, inclusive of content and campaign management, lead management, and multi-channel delivery and testing.
The Wealth Management Digital Marketing team is looking for a talented Social Media manager to manage Morgan Stanley’s existing FA social media program, as well as to develop and launch new initiatives.
This individual is passionate about the growing adoption of technology by consumers and is excited to support the creation, on-going development & implementation of the latest digital solutions for our clients & Financial Advisors.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Serve as subject matter expert. Communicate and provide support to FAs and
Field Management, answer questions, provide training, and deliver best
practices. Make branch/ complex presentations as needed. Drive FA social
media adoption and enablement goals through development and execution of
internal campaigns
• Enhance user experience by assisting with the delivery of product
enhancements, new features and capabilities to the existing program which
impact user experience, simplifies functionality, or helps with client acquisition
• Collect and analyze FA feedback to help drive product enhancements and
program recommendations
• Act as a lead with vendors to help with issues resolution
• Work with MSWM digital and technology teams to create connectivity to digital
ecosystem, enhancing FA’s social media capabilities and experience
• Create training for the Field to help them incorporate these digital tools into
their business practices and drive results
• Monitor competitive landscape, industry best practices, social media tools and
refresh/update trainings and guidance documents as needed
• Analyze and maintain metrics reporting to measure adoption, engagement and
success of the programs
• Partner with digital content team to enhance content strategy based on FA
feedback
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
• 3+ years of work experience in digital platforms, social media or equivalent –
deep understanding of LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook required
• Strong experience with Adobe Marketing Stack, specifically Experience
Manager and Analytics
• Work experience in Financial Services or highly regulated industry a plus
• Resourceful problem-solver who is comfortable with new technologies and
concepts
• Highly collaborative, self-motivated, results-oriented and a creative thinker
• Excellent communication skills (ability to interact with FAs and Field
Management), both written and oral
• Very organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills
• Excellent PowerPoint skills
• Ability to do analysis in excel
• Knowledge of Tableau a plus
This position will be based in New York, NY with occasional travel.
