Job Description
About the role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Human Resources, this role will lead the organizational strategy and support for a wide range of employee relations and other human resources related matters. Will work in conjunction with division leadership, internal customers, and outside legal counsel to develop a human resources management strategy that supports the company’s strategic and operational priorities. He/she will oversee effective organization-wide employee relations programs through proper planning, direction, evaluation, and leadership which will enable PennyMac to retain a highly skilled, competent, and engaged workforce. Will be responsible for policy development, have ownership of the company’s employee handbook and will lead and conduct internal investigations. As a strategic member of the Human Resources Leadership Team, will contribute to the development of business unit goals and action plans to anticipate and support the needs of a growth-oriented company.
Preferred Qualifications
Requirements:
• 10 + years’ experience within Human Resources
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Significant level of HR Generalist experience
• PHR/SPHR Certification preferred
• Finance experience preferred
