The Business Process Management Developer works with US Operations to understand the business requirements and develops and implements business process management (BPM) low-code workflow solutions and dashboards as required. This role involves managing data sets from different sources – including but not limited to, MS Excel, MS Access and SQL platforms. This role also involves frequent usage of HTML & java scripts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Gather requirements from various tax practices, understanding their needs and translating them into technology specifications
• Design, develop (write programs) and implement, update, and manage workflow implementation
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot applications
• Create professional-looking and easy-to-use forms
• Bridge connections between different data sources
• Create views, Stored Procedures in SQL when required
• Write and use CSS and Java scripts based on the workflow requirements
• Collaborate with IT teams and comply with standards
• Prepare reports as per business requirements
• Perform quality assurance, as required
• Prepare documentation of processes
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
• BS / BA degree, preferred Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, and / or equivalent formal training or work experience.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Business Process Management experience a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in designing process maps and workflow solutions.
Computer Skills:
• Intermediate to advanced level expertise in SQL.
• Intermediate knowledge in CSS, HTML & Java scripting.
• Ability within a specific technology area to complete root cause analysis, design solutions, write code, perform testing, provide documentation, and implement projects.
Other Skills:
• Excellent partnering, communication, and negotiation skills to interact effectively with business Customers and technology development and support groups
• Ability to work effectively in a strong Customer service/team oriented environment.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver’s license required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
• Standard indoor working environment.
• Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
• Position requires regular interaction with employees in person, via email and phone.
