Dun & Bradstreet Technology team is looking for a high performing, results oriented, technology savvy Project Coordinator who will work closely with technology, finance, product, marketing and sales operations teams to ensure that work across teams (and internal issues) are resolved in a timely manner. The Project Coordinator will be helping the Project Management Office (PMO) be high-performing and efficient.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage the communication and escalation among cross functional groups.
• Oversees the release management process for all project teams.
• Assist in the development and execution of process improvements across the PMO.
• Identify trends and report root causes of issues as appropriate.
• Conduct data mining and analysis to identify process gaps via SQL queries.
• Must possess strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills to help research and troubleshoot the problem efficiently and effectively
• Ensure that issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.
• Help implement policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected
• Complete on-going analysis to measure progress across all project teams and work with Project Managers to implement improvement.
• Confirm tickets for given teams are complete, comprehensive, and conform to best practices
• Plan project timelines and milestones within each project phase by working with resources and collecting estimates.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and analysis
Requirements/Qualifications
Education:
• BA/BS in a math or science related field required. MA/MS/MBA is a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
• 3+ years of experience in a web/online environment (internet/startup or Consulting preferred).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Understanding of enterprise software product life cycle, ITIL, principles and service management process.
• Working knowledge of SQL/database concepts
• Strong computer skills; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook; Visio is a plus.
• Working knowledge of relevant project management tools and systems (e.g. JIRA )
• Able to quickly assess situations, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues; ability to use reason, even when dealing with emotional topics.
• Able to identify, isolate and document defects with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ensure that customer issues are resolved, and root causes identified.
• Able to quickly learn new technologies and interact effectively with all levels of management with tact and professionalism.
• Proven ability to work efficiently with multiple business owners.
