Senior Analyst, Consulting – New York, NY
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our strategic consulting practice in New York. Our Consulting practice combines long-term strategy with practical implementation. As a result, we deliver creative, cost-effective solutions that not only look good on paper, they work in practice - helping our clients achieve lasting competitive advantage.
Our Sr. Analyst will be responsible for developing pro forma financials, gathering and evaluating economic, demographic, and real estate market data, preparing presentations and requests for qualifications / proposals, as well as financial reporting for clients of the firm.
Our Sr. Analyst, will also be responsible for reviewing and analyzing legal documents, financial reports, and operating plans as part of the due diligence process, negotiations or on-going portfolio management. Sr. Analysts help our team successfully complete engagements for occupier clients in the following areas:
• Portfolio, and Merger and Acquisition Strategy
• Workplace Strategy
• Corporate Real Estate Organizational Strategy & Six Sigma Process Design
• Financial modeling and complex analytics
What this job involves:
Financial Analysis
• Develop pro forma financials on pre-tax, after-tax, net present value cash flow and book bases, and unique client chargeback and lease versus ownership analysis
• Prepare and concatenate raw data for use in financial models and portfolio dashboards
• Perform complex financial analyses with minimal supervision
Qualitative Analysis
• Review and analyze client’s quantitative portfolio data, legal documents and other materials as part of project due diligence process
• Evaluate client alternatives; define and execute relevant qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic and real estate market data
• Assist leadership team with research to ensure we stay on top of cutting-edge workplace trends
Client Service
• Prepare and deliver client presentations with influence and impact for the client
• Prepare proposals for new or follow on engagements utilizing effective work planning capabilities
• Responsible for client interaction

• A Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Real Estate, Finance or Accounting desired
• 3-4 years if relevant experience
• Financial/Analytical Skills
• Financial Modeling
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Tableau a plus
• Real Estate, Project Execution or Consulting Experience
• Statistics / Research experience
• Database design experience
• Well-developed Verbal, Communication, and Presentation Skills
• Highly Organized
• Client Service mind-set
• Prior project execution experience
