SUMMARY
The TM Advisory Sales Associate partners with the TM Advisory Team to develop new treasury management business and to maintain established treasury management customers of the bank. New business can come in the form of new treasury management customers to the bank or a cross sale of products to an existing customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These are the most significant job duties performed. The size, scope and complexity of assigned duties and responsibilities are dependent on the level and experience of the incumbent. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each assigned essential duty satisfactorily. • Partners with TM Advisors on the sales process.
◦ Prepares sales presentations including proposals and any specific customized materials.
◦ Creates pricing proposals and provides pricing recommendations when needed.
◦ Prepares structure diagrams for sales presentations.
◦ Proactively contacts all new TM customers to establish client satisfaction with TM products and delivery.
• Partners with TM Advisors on the client review processes.
◦ Reviews customer analysis statements to identify customer product needs for cross sell opportunities.
◦ Prepares presentation materials for client review meetings including agenda, proposal document, brochures, supporting collateral materials, etc.
◦ Follows-up on cross-sales of specific treasury management customers and/or specific treasury management products.
• Coordinates product implementation with customers.
◦ Provides support to clients during the implementation process and, on occasion, high level customer service.
◦ Creates pre-filled documents, pro-actively follows-up with customers to answer questions about documents and to ensure the return of the signed documents.
◦ Performs internal tracking and follow-up on product implementation requests.
◦ Occasionally assists customers with product orientation and training.
• Provides back-up support for the TM Advisory Sales team and other TM Sales Associates.
• Understands and complies with all Bank policies and procedures, and federal and state laws and regulations pertinent to this position; stays informed and shares updates on changes with management. Required to successfully complete all required Compliance training.
• Continuously supports the Bank’s Mission Statement and Core Values.
TM Advisory Sales Associate Senior - Additional Responsibilities
• Maintains a portfolio of existing Treasury Management customers to retain their business at the bank.
• Provides subject matter expertise in Treasury Management Products to offer high level solutions to customers. Strong understanding of pricing of TM products and related products from competitor banks. Able to create pricing pro formats from competitor bank analysis statements.
• As a senior member of the team, has additional responsibilities to mentor and coach less experiences Sales Associates.
• Responsible for facilitating customer meetings without the TM Advisor and possibly without the Relationship Manager present. Responsible for having same familiarity with the customer as the TM Advisor.
• May be given independent sales goals.
• May work with the TM Product Management team on product gaps or shortcomings that customers have brought to our attention.
• Expected to manage significant and complex implementations, such as integrations with third party software companies, including following up with all parties to ensure the timeline of the project is on track.
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This position has no direct or indirect supervisory responsibilities.
• The Senior level position may lead the work of others including, but not limited to, guiding, coaching, mentoring, and training newer/less experienced team members.

Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting and 4+ years (7+ for Senior level) of related experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience working in Treasury Management and basic product knowledge is required for the Senior level.
