JOB INFORMATION
The Strategy and Insight Manager’s core responsibility is to create impact in the organization by managing teams to change how we work. Managers will build relationships with team leadership and partners across the organization to identify high impact areas for investigation and prioritize the key questions that will inform a recommended course of action. Lead teams to apply comprehensive knowledge of strategy principles, to synthesize customer research, robust data analytics, business modeling, and competitive / market intelligence, and implement long term business strategy. Working with senior executives on the team and in the business, managers play an important role in translating those insights into innovative ideas for action and developing the communications to socialize, refine, and gain acceptance of those recommendations, as well as monitor results.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
• Managing others and working independently, the manager will coach, mentor, and manage teams of analysts
• Establish independent relationships with senior business leaders
• Identify emerging trends that require strategic response
• Structure common frameworks to investigate ambiguous strategic questions
• Manage multiple analysts across full projects that are critical to our transformation
• Build repeatable processes and sources to synthesize consumer, marketplace, and competitor trends
• Build and refine prioritization and business case frameworks and advise on tradeoffs across initiatives
• Replicate best practices for measurement and monitoring of business and strategic initiatives results
• Coordinate and administer assignments, monitor team progress, and maintain schedules.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
• Graduate Degree in Economics, Business or Engineering preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
• 6+ years of related experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Team leadership in management consulting, investment banking, or internal strategy/business analysis
• Passion for talent development and team building
• Demonstrated experience leading others to solve complex, ambiguous, and analytically challenging problems
• Strong organizational skills and good judgment; must be a team player, positive, flexible, and creative
• Excellent process management and planning skills
• Demonstrated change agent, creative thinker and problem solver
