The Entry Level CSA role requires an individual who is professional and courteous, and who displays drive, determination, pro-activity and self-motivation. With a positive attitude, the Entry Level CSA will provide support to the team, which could comprise of Client Service Agent, Sr. Client Service Agent, Account Manager, Account Executive and Producer. The individual in this position is expected to be pursuing a career in insurance and become an experienced Client Service Agent.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the Team to include but not limited to:
◦ Produce Binders, Certificates, Endorsements, Evidence of Insurance and other related items while verifying for accuracy
◦ Certificate Templates and Forms
◦ Certificates of Insurance with Contract Requirements
◦ Assist Producer in premium collections and handle accounting issues
◦ Troubleshoot claims and billing issues
◦ Billing Inquiries
◦ Data Entry/Maintaining Data in EPIC
◦ Policy Checking
◦ Prepare Proposals, Summary of Insurance, Schedules as needed for account review
◦ Spreadsheet Data Entry
◦ Assist Clients with claims when necessary
◦ Marketing Support – Compile Supplement Applications, Loss Runs, Generate Proposals/Summary of Insurance, Update EPIC, Renewal Certificates and Auto ID Cards as needed
• Acts as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service issues.
• Provide professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners and HUB colleges, resulting in a rate of account retention that meets or exceeds expectations
• Process MVRs as per established Agency guidelines with clients
• Maintain department reports as request by team and/or supervisor
• Maintenance of department carrier information and website management
• Adhere to all Agency systems, procedures and state regulations
• Assume other job responsibilities as requested by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred
• 1 year professional/insurance experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel and automated agency management systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Above average mathematical skills
• Ability to work in a positive team environment
