Position Responsibilities:
• L2 Support Analyst responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the Licensing and Commissions System modules and interfaces. Will work closely with the business operations, engineering, access and identity management, and information security teams to ensure the system environment is stable, secure, and fulfilling project requirements.
• Provide level 2 application production support including incident and problem management.
• Ability to learn new applications and technologies on-the-job with limited formal training and hand-holding
• Be an independent thinker and bring new perspectives to the table while problem-solving
• Need to possess strong documentation skills and need to be very thorough in capturing minutes of discussions.
◦ Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field. 4+ years of relevant professional IT experience, including 3-5 years’ experience in the following –
◦ Strong SQL capabilities. Pl/SQL will be a plus.
◦ Experience in Informatica Power Center
◦ Experience in job scheduling and monitoring
◦ Exposure to UNIX scripting
• Ability to triage Production issues
• Insurance background and Commissions experience required
• Experience in Producers/Channel Management and Business Process Workflows desired
