The Role
As the Sr Benefits Administration Consultant, you will develop and implement approaches to support LFG’s BenTech initiatives with 3rd party Benefits Administration and HR Technology platforms. You will create communication and training to support the entire organization in its BenTech efforts, with a strong emphasis on support of the Sales teams. You will develop and execute change management strategies to improve the absorption of key messages, education and adoption of changes regarding BenTech initiatives. You will serve as a subject matter expert on LFG’s benefits administration capabilities and be responsible for the development and delivery of continuous training, positioning and capabilities.
Responsibilities
Training / Education
• Assists in development and delivery of training materials regarding BenTech
• Participates in training sessions as a resource with subject matter expertise regarding BenTech content and marketplace knowledge
• Participates in finalist meetings and partners with Sales/Distribution resources to optimize approach for BenTech prospects and clients
• Serves as primary point of contact for LFG BenTech partnership and capability questions
• Collaborates with Marketing to develop BenTech positioning in the marketplace, and ensures various internal areas have a full understanding of LFG capabilities and market differentiators
• Partners with sales/distribution to develop optimized approach for BenTech prospects and clients
Communication / Change Management
• Develops cross-functional communication plans and change management strategies for BenTech to inform stakeholders, manage expectations, and keep them apprised of status with regular updates
• Establish Benefit Administration positioning with Group Protection
• Serve as subject matter expert to teams regarding BenTech content and marketplace knowledge
• Liaises with cross-functional leadership and teams to understand complex communication needs, timelines, and key milestones for execution of BenTech (Benefit Administration) initiatives
• Ensures cross-functional areas are kept apprised of evolving changes related to processes, objectives, and/or marketplace influences so all stakeholders can appropriately carry out their role to support overall initiatives.
• Establishes metrics/key indicators to assess the effectiveness of communication, training, and other change management vehicles; provides insights regarding when new processes are needed and/or when to further adapt processes to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
Education
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree business, organizational leadership, human resources, communications, industrial and organizational development/psychology, education, or a related discipline or 4 years equivalent work experience in lieu of Bachelor's (Minimum Required)
Experience
• 3 – 5+ years’ experience in sales support, communications, training and/or change management directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
• 3 + years’ experience in BenTech or Benefits Administration (Required)
Travel Information
• Travel Type :National Domestic
• Travel Amount :up to 25%
