What you will do:
• Manage the end-to-end, timely and accurate SEC preparation and filing process from record compilation, review and archive of supporting documentation, tie-outs, disclosure checklists, the drafting and review of disclosures and XBRL tagging compliance and review.
• Be responsible for the distributions, review, comment and approval process of SEC filings with external auditors, inside and outside legal counsel, and Disclosure and Audit Committees.
• Responsibility for preparing disclosure checklist and ensuring disclosure requirements are met in all filings. Lead for presentation and discussion with Disclosure Committee.
• Prepare and assist with accounting reconciliations or calculations related to disclosures or other areas of accounting as needed.
• Contribute to the preparation of related earnings materials.
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for areas of responsibility.
• Monitor and assess the effects of assigned proposed regulations and draft disclosures in the Form 10-Q/10-K.
• Provide support to finance management and other internal customers as needs arise, including ad-hoc technical accounting research, analysis, memos and special projects.
What you will need:
• Passion for Accounting and great pride in creating quality, accurate results.
• BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• 10+ years of SEC or related reporting experience in a corporate or audit environment.
• Proficiency with FASB, SEC and AICPA rules and XBRL tagging.
• Strong people management, project management, and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to be a resourceful, self-starter requiring minimal supervision with an ability to work well individually and in a team setting within a fast-paced, deadline-driven public company environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPA License
Even better if you have:
• Big 4 background.
• Active Disclosure, Webfiings or similar SEC preparation system experience.
