GLOBAL SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER – Chicago, IL
We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Manager for our Global Finance Team.
What this job involves:
• This is a leadership role in SEC reporting processes, including the preparation, review, XBRL tagging, and filing of quarterly (Form 10-Q) and annual (Form 10-K) financial statements, quarterly earnings releases as well as current reports (Form 8-Ks).
• Oversee the compilation and review of the consolidated statement of cash flows.
• Manage global stock-based compensation accounting, documentation, and associated communications.
• Collaborate with the accounting policy team to enhance accounting policies and procedures, synchronize processes as well as develop and deploy educational materials to finance and business teams globally.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the global organization.
• Participate in special projects, including (but not limited to) implementaiton of new accounting pronouncements, ERP upgrade activities and ongoing finance optimization efforts.
• Review certain global financial statement analytics; ensuring quality and completeness of documentation, including variance explanations.
• Oversee month-end consolidation and financial close process, including reviewing journal entries, work papers and associated documentation.
LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT
• Provide direct oversight and development of the Global Finance financial reporting team.
• Establish and develop relationships with finance leadership at the Global level and within each of the business segments.
• Help build the U.S. GAAP understanding of stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Utilize project management skills to independently oversee and complete complex tasks by extracting skills and resources from around the globe.
• Champion and participate in Global Finance efforts to increase involvement in volunteer, diversity and social responsibility efforts.

• Ability to succinctly communicate issues and their resolution to finance and business leadership (verbally and in writing).
• High comfort level interacting with executive-level individuals.
• Superior multi-tasking skills, adaptability, and ability to operate independently in a constantly changing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred) or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• CPA required
• Experience performing accounting research, leading projects, and communicating results
• Prior experience working and communicating within multi-national corporations and SEC registrants
• OneStream or other consolidation tools a plus
