Responsibilities
CIT is seeking a strong, dynamic, candidate with advanced technical skills who can drive change as an integral member of the Liquidity Analytics and Reporting team within the Treasury Department.
This candidate will report to the VP of Liquidity Analytics and Reporting and will be responsible for producing and enhancing key management reporting on Liquidity Risk metrics, HQLA projections, and collateral usage. The position will also manage key projects that improve cash flow forecasting and be involved in new system build implementations.
This role will be integral in producing monthly ALCO materials and will assist the ALCO Secretary on key communications and deliverables to committee members. The individual will also identify and enhance process controls ensuring data presented to management is reviewed and accurate prior to distribution. The position offers good visibility within the Bank and there is extensive partnership with colleagues within Treasury and various business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Streamline and enhance management reporting on Liquidity Risk Metrics, cash projections, HQLA, and collateral
• Manage projects that enhance cash flow forecasting, including new system build implementations
• Assist in preparation of monthly ALCO materials and development of key communications to committee members
• Contribute to production of key stress test reporting and methodology enhancements
• Develop key controls for management reporting and ensure accuracy of data generated
Qualifications
• 5+ years financial services experience
• Treasury experience and knowledge of liquidity management
• Knowledge of cash flow modeling and working capital management
• Product knowledge of bank balance sheet
• Strong excel modeling skills, VBA experience a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and meet aggressive deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
