Description
POSITION SUMMARY:Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all FFHC employees. Provides administrative support as needed including, but not limited to, correspondence generation, HRIS data entry, record keeping, and file maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide continuous follow up for the sales management teams and field recruiters for pre-employment document completion and submission.
• Screen sales program application packets for completion and possible need for pre-hire review.
• Administer the pre-hire review process for potential sales program hires including requesting & collecting the necessary paperwork for submission to the Legal and Compliance departments.
• Receive and review onboarding forms from the field to ensure completion and accuracy, including but not limited to I-9, W-4, and EEO forms.
• Distribute appropriate new hire forms to Compliance, IT, and Registration departments.
• Create and maintain personnel files for sales office employees.
• Process status change forms including hires, terminations, transfers, and placing employees on leave. This includes updating the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) ADP Workforce Now, sending the appropriate email communications, and ensuring all corresponding paperwork is completed.
• In conjunction with Payroll, prepare and submit verbal and written employment verifications in accordance with Company policy.
• Generate multiple types of reports from ADP Workforce Now on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Complete E-Verify process for employees hired in states requiring it.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned, including but not limited to filing, scanning, and assisting with benefits paperwork and unemployment claims.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain the strictest confidence
• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Strong follow up skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Microsoft Office knowledge required
• Familiarity with HRIS packages a plus
