We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst to join our growing team. The Senior Analyst will provide support in delivering real estate analysis, CMBS and other commercial real estate loan underwriting and debt consulting services. This role manages multiple transactions with multiple clients under tight timelines.
Responsibilities:
• Provide real estate analysis, loan underwriting and debt consulting services to clients.
• Analyze and interpret operating statements, rent rolls and leases for a variety of commercial properties
• Prepare financial models using Excel and Argus (including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses and return analyses);
• Conduct property / site inspections when needed.
• Perform cash flow modeling based on due diligence findings and in accordance with client and/or rating agency guidelines
• Review and analyze loan transaction packages for preliminary qualification.
• Provide credible recommendations to supervisors and senior management based on market research and analysis
• Draft and prepare Investment Committee memos
• Other ad-hoc projects as assigned
Skills, Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Economics Finance or other related field required
• Minimum 3 years of experience related to commercial real estate required
• Knowledge of CRE industry, including property and capital market trends and valuation concepts (including experience underwriting all major property types with ability to quickly understand local property markets);
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel knowledge and familiarity with Argus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
