The Renewable Resource Relationship Manager will source and lead structured transactions in the rapidly growing renewable energy industry for a leader in technology banking. Bridge Bank’s Renewable Resource Group provides debt that enables the acquisition of, construction of, or term financing of solar, wind, energy storage, and other assets.
Responsibilities
• Lead the structuring, negotiation, underwriting, and execution of project finance loans as the primary interface with the client and credit administration.
• Manage the deal process, including internal and external counsel and independent engineers.
• Deliver term sheets, opportunity memos, loan presentations, and relationship reviews for credit administrator, credit committee, and executive approval.
• Develop new customer relationships and maintain contacts and opportunities in CRM.
• Identify opportunities for the bank to deliver client value beyond project finance.
• Assist with industry analysis and development of strategy.
• Monitor a portfolio of loans for regulatory and documentary compliance.
• Matrix manage group credit analysts that support projects and portfolio.
• Travel for meetings and industry conferences (up to 25%).
Qualifications
Eligible candidates will have the following Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA) from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of five (5) years or more in banking, structured transactions, or a related field.
• Effective written communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated competence in financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling using Excel.
• Ability to prioritize across projects and balance short-term deliverables with long-term goals.
• Demonstrated self-starter with a client-service focus.
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to deeply understand the changing energy landscape.
Ideal candidates will meet the following Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in or knowledge of renewable energy project finance or other non-recourse project finance structures.
• Demonstrated business development or sales success.
• Established network in renewable energy.
• Experience with power purchase agreements, equipment leases, or commercial real estate or construction loan underwriting.
• Degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, engineering or related field.
