The Consumer Finance Digital Program Manager provides leadership for all aspects of the Unsecured Consumer Lending Digital Channels Team. Responsible for the overall strategy, roadmap, delivery, and execution of all Unsecured Lending Online and Mobile products, transactions and services, including Online Account Opening, Online Enrollment, Compliance with required security, Online Banking, and Mobile/Tablet Banking. Liaisons with various functional areas including: Product Management Team, Project Managers and Business Systems Analysts, and Web Metrics Analytics.
Major Responsibilities:
• Lead the Product Development and Product Management of the Unsecured Lending online services based on the Bank’s goals and objectives.
• Lead a team of Digital strategists who will be focused on a number of diverse functional areas within the Direct Bank’s Digital Channel experience.
• Responsible for providing the Unsecured Lending Channel strategic vision for online account opening, online banking and mobile banking.
• Oversight of the product development and management life cycle including: opportunity identification, competitive intelligence, strategy formulation, customer experience, defining and prioritizing initiatives, risk management, adherence to compliance, preparation of monthly metrics and execution of all digital channel strategies.
• Must balance competing objectives and successfully influence and partner with leaders across multiple areas of the bank.
• Lead a team of Project Managers and Business Systems Analysts that will be focused on ensuring that the Digital Channel’s Unsecured Lending projects are properly documented and managed to ensure that execution can occur in a timely manner that is in line with the channel vision.
• Create a high performance culture by inspiring team members and removing obstacles.
• Responsible for effective analytics “tagging” of web pages to ensure proper tracking of marketing efficiencies, online account opening, and customer usage of online features and functionalities as well as channel usage.
• Interpret and then present monthly product metrics to Executive Management and present data-driven strategic initiatives.
• Leverage metrics to drive and execute solutions with timeliness and accuracy.
• Drive prioritization of competing initiatives and balance of organization and department objectives.
• Maintain an awareness of major industry trends and stay abreast of current technology.
• Proactively establish relationships with others in the industry as a means of achieving goals.
Qualifications
• Typically requires a degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.).
• Advanced degree or MBA is strongly preferred.
• Must be a creative problem solver and a creative problem anticipator who is able to anticipate complex issues/problems and takes proactive steps to prevent them from happening.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office product suite.
• 10+ years of product management and product development experience in financial services.
• Background in customer-facing, web-based systems, and mobile applications preferred, especially in the electronic payment or online banking space.
