Senior Communication Consultant- Stock Plan Services
Act as a knowledgeable resource for client and internal business partners on communication services and industry trends. Keep current with regulatory information and industry trends. Identify emerging communications trends for the department/company and assigned clients. Analyze participant behavior and educational needs, evaluate current promotional/educational materials and proactively propose changes/solutions to clients.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
• BA/BS required.
• Experience in stock plan and employee benefits communication and/or financial services strongly preferred.
• 10+ years Communications consulting experience preferred.
The Purpose of Your Role
As a senior Communications Consultant you will help Fidelity's clients deliver critical information to their employees (participants) by developing and delivering best-in-class communications materials. The primary role of this is to not only manage the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective communication plans to Stock Plan Services participants but to also act as mentor to peers, be an industry or subject matter expert in communications and be playing a lead role in supporting sales as needed.

• Identify emerging communications trends for the department/company and assigned clients.
• Analyze participant behavior and educational needs, evaluate current promotional/educational materials and proactively propose changes/solutions to clients.
• Review and analyze plan-specific materials to determine the appropriate literature support model for each client.
• Ensure strong client satisfaction by managing projects for multi-product clients end-to-end and managing resources to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Interact with multiple levels within the client organizations to gather information, assess needs, provide project status updates, and build rapport and credibility in order to advise clients on products and services.
• Develop and execute Communication Strategies, Project Plans, Communication Calendars and Status Reports to monitor client projects.
• Independently manage development of communication pieces and ad hoc projects to support several client projects. Manage the technical, peer review, proofreading, legal and client edit/review cycles, including all necessary follow-ups.
• Work as a member of a team of experts to effectively deliver complex communication projects. Propose and implement creative solutions to problems.
• Participate in non-client projects to benefit the unit or the department.
• Held responsible for revenue goals; work with budgets and negotiate communication fees as appropriate.
• Review and approval of all client communication expenses and billing as appropriate.
• Working with business partners, negotiate compromises and cost sharing agreements when necessary to assure successful resolution of escalated issues.
• Analyze plan-specific materials and develop a working knowledge of each client’s plan provisions and educate business partners as appropriate.
• Participate in sales activities with prospects, rebid clients, and existing clients interested in expanding relationship with Fidelity.
• Deliver engaging and effective presentations which demonstrate and differentiate our communication and education capabilities..
