PURPOSE:
The Sales Database Administrator is responsible for demo database maintenance, training and marketing support for Orion Advisor Services, LLC (“OAS”), a wholly owned subsidiary of NorthStar Financial Services Group, LLC (“NorthStar”).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
DEMO DATABASE MAINTENANCE
• Works with each sales person to ensure the demo database environment is setup correctly
• Maintains demo database with up to date and current information
• Runs quarter end processing for demo database
• Works with sales VPs and internal sales to brand database and reports for demos
• Ensures sales ready functionality for new product/functionality rollouts in demo database
• Works with Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams to set up scenarios for specific demo instances
• Works with tech support & integration team on resolving demo database issues
• Participates in build testing procedures
• Maintains asset classification
• Verifies reconciliation status of demo database
• Cleans up daily by clearing mocked up reports, trading, and other database items
• Completes corporate action items
• Maintains Private Asset Platform and ensures data is presentable
• Assists with setting up new accounts and disabling cancelled accounts
TRAINING AND MARKETING SUPPORT
• Provides sales VPs and internal sales assistance on proper way to present new product functionality
• Works with marketing on sell sheets for each offering, product, and functionality
• Creates recordings of specific system functionality and keeps the demo library up to date
May perform other duties as required and assigned.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS & CONTACTS
• Regular contact with clients, prospective clients and Orion employees
• Frequent contact with Orion Sales Teams
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team environment
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing priorities
• Proficient skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Effective written, listening and verbal communication skills
• Effective problem solving and organizational skills
EDUCATION:*
• Minimum of a High School Diploma required
EXPERIENCE:*
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales or customer service required
• Experience working within Financial Services industry preferred
*Equivalent education and experience will be considered

WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT/SAFETY:
Normally works in a general office environment with the use of computer, printer, telephone, copier, fax, and calculator. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
Travel may be required up to 5% of the time.
